Because we work directly with our suppliers, we can often address delivery delays, damaged products, defective items, or replacement needs more efficiently. In some cases, suppliers may be able to send a replacement promptly without waiting for the original item to be returned, helping reduce unnecessary delays to your project.During the planning and selection process, we will work with you to finalize materials, finishes, fixtures, and other selections early enough to account for lead times and special-order requirements.Major appliances—including refrigerators, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, and microwaves—are generally purchased directly by the homeowner. This is especially important for items such as plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, flooring, countertops, cabinetry hardware, and appliances.For major appliances—such as refrigerators, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, and microwaves—we generally recommend that homeowners purchase directly from their preferred retailer. This gives you a direct relationship with the retailer and manufacturer for warranty coverage, service, delivery concerns, damage claims, and product issues. PHRS Remodeling will coordinate the appliance specifications, dimensions, placement, utility requirements, and installation needs with the overall project.For many other project materials and finishes, PHRS Remodeling is also happy to purchase and coordinate the items when they are included in the project agreement. When we supply materials, we can work directly with our suppliers to manage ordering, delivery, damaged or defective products, and replacement items. This can often help resolve issues more quickly and minimize delays to the project schedule.Owner-supplied items remain subject to the applicable retailer or manufacturer warranties and policies. If an owner-supplied item is delayed, damaged, defective, missing components, incompatible with the planned installation, or requires work outside the original project scope, we will discuss any potential impact to the schedule or cost with you before moving forward.
